As parvilno display HTML text via JS in a few lines?

Good afternoon everyone)
I have part of the page is generated via JS in the process of the website.
And often it is necessary to create whole blocks.
Do it using $('#div').html("new DIV") or through a JS analog getElemenById().innerHTML="new DIV"

The question is often this "new DIV" is a lot, and JS does not perceive it as PHP in a few lines.
Is there any way to get around is that JS took the design view:
$('#div').html("<div 1>
 <div 2>
</div>
 </div>");

and not only
$('#div').html("<div 1> <div 2> </div> </div>");
