How to see a list of connected hosts?

On the laptop using the Network-manager set up a distribution of Internet through wi-fi, that is, the laptop takes the Internet through the wire and gives as an access point.

Actually works successfully, but how can I see who connected and when ?

Look at the DHCP server. If there is in the Network Manager module DHCP there. You can see the Mac addresses and IP addresses. Then nbtstat -A IP address will display the device name.

iwinfo wlan0 assoclist
or
iw dev wlan0 station dump
