Site search not working properly?

wrote on the toaster issue managed to fix it but still not as they should: However:
there are in the database:
id | vuzn | vidp
1 | a (letter) | First letter
2 | b (the letter) | the Second letter
when I enter in search: and the letter that is only 1 | a (the letter) | the First letter and if I enter the letter b, too, displays only 2 | b (the letter) | the Second letter. Everything is fine(I just need the most accurate sample)
BUT!!! If I enter: the letter a, then the website displays:
2 | b (the letter) | the Second letter
1 | a (letter) | First letter

(and you need only: 1 | a (letter) | First letter)
conversely, if I enter: the letter bis displayed:
1 | a (letter) | First letter
2 | b (the letter) | the Second letter

(and you need only: 2 | b (the letter) | the Second letter)

Code:
$raw_results = mysql_query("SELECT *, MATCH (vuzn,vidp) AGAINST ('+$query' IN BOOLEAN MODE) as REL FROM `tab` WHERE MATCH (vuzn,vidp) AGAINST ('+$query' IN BOOLEAN MODE) ORDER BY REL;") or die(mysql_error());

How can I fix it?
