Mikrotik SXT Lite2 as access point?

Hello.
There is a four-story building, each floor of which you want to organize Wi-Fi. The company purchased Mikrotik SXT Lite2 (I do not advise)). Googling and reading articles and don't really understand - can these devices be used as a normal access point (without a base station) so that it connects the customers or is it just to connect point to point (bridge)?
Thank you.

Solution
pay attention to the license, where it is Level 3 and you need 4
here are the correct answer. Devices with 3M level license may not work in ap mode bridge mode (access point), only in bridge mode (access point for one client, to links point-to-point). The pattern after that – the second question. By the way, the license level can be raised, only need to buy a L4 and hang them on your sxt lite2. then all will be OK about the fact that the device is weak – I disagree. Normal device. But profile :) - neva_Metz commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:12
Damn, just as a wireless ap only L4((

Only here 4 license in addition to the already purchased hardware to me, no one will buy it. Okay I will think of something... - anais78 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:15

It is possible, the problem is that the SXT narrowly-focused antenna.
And to cover them conventional need two such devices installed at one of the walls (get 120 degrees, which is basically OK) or 6(!) to make a circular "light" signal of one such Assembly in the center of the room.

Well, in General it is happy with a weak profile. Better to use something else.
Took another external Omni-directional antenna. - neva_Metz commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:14
: at da. So it is possible. I think there is even inside all standard m connectors. - anais78 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:17
but the speed of the points are quite funny by modern standards, 100 mbps - wilfrid11 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:20
License. The key word when using this model - anais78 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:23
: whoa for sure! Thank you for the clarification! : pay attention to it. The Lite license allows only one user connection at a point. - wilfrid11 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:26
: Already paid (( Trouble-the sadness...
By the way, take this: if there is someone from Donetsk or Lugansk, sell at a discount 4 PCs Mikrotik SXT Lite2 )) - wilfrid11 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:29
a "modest" 15$ from the device, the license can be apnut, if I remember correctly. Just like in the saying "miser pays twice." - neva_Metz commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:32
: can You sell 4 licenses at a price of l5 l4 :) - wilfrid11 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:35
: Not in the avarice of the case, and negligence - overlooked that L3 is a piece of iron, it would, of course, did not take, but took something more appropriate, the same SXT 2 (without Lite), slightly more expensive it is. Now it will have to get rid of them - more money will not give.
: no, thank you)), I could use a piece of iron to float. If melted, take some TP-Link-s and soar brains to myself I will not. - anais78 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:38
: well you et the with TP-Link in the enterprise network be careful. It is better to take something more reliable, if the network is not built for show.

If you want a simple to set up and take unity if you want all the richness and variety features MESH\HWFW\Vlan\BGNAC - then take Mikrotik. If "money to burn" can of cisk to see. - wilfrid11 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:41
: Wi-Fi on the strength of 10 people will use, the other on the wires. Yes, and with shipping we (in altenaria) tight - these Mikrotik-and almost a month of waiting. I will take that comes, for the time - less than a month to do. - neva_Metz commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:44
: take hap ac lite. And inexpensive, and practical. Or hap lite, so if cheaper need. But hurry – the license is sent immediately after receipt of the translation :) - anais78 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:47

It supports the usual WiFi standards b/g/n, but the beamwidth 60 deg.

Yeah, maybe. But it is a directional antenna. On youtube look for the review videos, there are the instructions on how to increase the angle of the signal.
Yes, I've seen the antenna consists of two plates, remove the top and the angle increases with the loss of power. It is not critical - are already in addition to take an external Omni-directional antenna, the main thing is to be configured as a regular access point. - neva_Metz commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:20
in General, this is a standard device with RouterOS onboard. Will work exactly as you set up, whether it be a bridge, access point or "router on a stick" - anais78 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:23
: Alas, will not. On this piece of iron license L3, and to organize a Wireless AP only starting with L4. - wilfrid11 commented on July 2nd 19 at 13:26

Forgot to attach a network diagram (sorry for the quality, made in haste):
