How to put nginx with php-fpm instead of Apache?

In short there is a virtual server:

CentOS release 6.4 (Final)
Server version: Apache/2.2.15 (Unix)
mysql Version : 5.1.67
5.4.45 PHP (cli) (built: Feb 9 2015 14:47:13)

The challenge is to translate it to nginx with php-fpm. If you can guide for the stupid and inept in steps how to do it?

critical to the sites continued to work, or not ?
and you to learn, or that somehow worked, but without Apache?

manuals fully online, for example
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/h...
or Google install lemp centos 6.4

the fun starts when you want nginx with support for http2 and php7 simultaneously with php5 - there is already a need to Tinker.

there is still this option:
centminmod.com
but it's not for everybody - yet initially, it's best to be able to configure.
