How to restrict authors to upload thumbnails to the records?

Hi, is it possible to hide the unit load of thumbnails to a recording from the author, while he remained in administrators? As an option, at least through a simple display: none. There are many plugins to restrict access, but have not found a possibility to register your class to hide.

Solution
The answer is no, the post_thumbnail functionality is determined when registering a custom post type, for standard post_type=post it is the default. No I oborachivaniya in functions.php you will not be able to isolate.

You can either zahochetsa in init and disable this feature from a post type (but we need it for admins), or disable the Metabox for all but admins:
remove_thumbnail_box function() {
 if ( ! current_user_can( 'manage_options' ) ) {
 remove_meta_box( 'postimagediv','post','side' );
}
}
add_action('do_meta_boxes', 'remove_thumbnail_box');

PS: not tested, but should work

In each subject in function.php there is a small block that displays the thumbnail functionality in the posts. By default it shows all users. You need to wrap in an if that checks if the user is an administrator or not.
