Hello! My name is Sergey and I'm a programmer.
Back in the 90's, I spent days in the classroom, mocking the old BK-Chegutu. Then went to a ZX-Spectrum, programming information became available, made with other simple toys ...
Rather, according to employment records, I'm an engineer-designer. But actually from the IT and programming I am far away and would not leave. Administration of computers and networks, website design, hosting, configure, postal services and the cloud make utility C++, Perl script for parsing and replacement. Etc. etc. something for work, something as a hobby.
Six months ago, for the hell of it I sat down at Python and I covered. He lined with books and guides, killed a bunch of problems on HackerRank. Interesting, cool. When you find the solution and the code works - the buzz.
Recently celebrated 37 and realized that from the current work sick. Experts call it a midlife crisis. Probably, it is. Changing industry after 15 years of successful work was not a smart decision. On the other hand there is still plenty of time and want to spend it with pleasure.
I apologize for such a long introduction. That's actually a question to the distinguished audience:
1. QA tester - python, low entry threshold, the opportunity to scratch someone else's code and see how industry works from the inside. So?
2. Summary - I have absolutely nothing to write on it. All I could describe, put - are asked to evaluate, to criticize, to offer something.
