Is it worth it to upgrade to MacOS Sierra?

Esti does anyone have experience upgrading to Sierra on imac 27" 5K core i5, 3.2 Ghz, 8gb Ram? Better/worse than El Capitan?

Certainly better, but what exactly are you afraid of?
My first Mac, my first update. As a former Windows user I'm afraid of unpleasant surprises, bugs, brake - gregg_Friesen commented on July 2nd 19 at 18:07

I have this configuration, put a Sierra, nothing new has been received, but stopped working Karabiner, still suffer, as the normal alternative still present. Honestly, don't see an extreme need to be updated.

The rest are no better and no worse, all in the same way (sirri I don't use).
Here I also sat their Prez looked and did not see anything special - gregg_Friesen commented on July 2nd 19 at 18:09

All very individually.
In my case (MBP Late 2012, two external monitor, the families receive little) after you upgrade or clean install Sierra beech is heated is much greater than the captain. 75 to rest against the 55.

PS No, it's not mdworker, in htop, there is nothing that alerted would be heated all the time, i.e. a week after installation. So I still remain on the captain.
