Solution
You returned a tuple, the number of elements which depends on the number of fields requested in the SELECT statement, will return a specific element by index, e.g., foo[0]
A possible example of such treatment? - Diego_Davis commented on July 2nd 19 at 18:19
: foo[0] - Garnett_Deckow commented on July 2nd 19 at 18:22
I always the last entry in this table in this case. I will be studying. Thank you! - Diego_Davis commented on July 2nd 19 at 18:25
: the last entry is calculated at the database level using ORDER BY clause in the selection criteria for this record and LIMIT 1 - Garnett_Deckow commented on July 2nd 19 at 18:28

Solution
You get a list of tuples as the query result.
Take a closer look in the documentation that it returns the fetchone() and fetchall()
Thank you! Explore. - Diego_Davis commented on July 2nd 19 at 18:21
