Can I use Yii2 sub patterns within species?

In Russian documentation only specifies that nested templates are used within templates.

Sometimes you need to nest one layout in another.
Using the above approach, you can put templates into each other at several levels.

In fact, it is possible and to use this connection method — it works.

// View file @app/views/design/index.php
/* @var $this yii\web\View */

TEST: begin<br>

<?php $this--->beginContent('@app/views/design/file.php') ?>
It's content!
<?php $this--->endContent() ?>

TEST: end<br>

About the yii\web\View::render() and other ways to connect a view within another view I know, but exactly this moment.

Why? There are blocks
There are widgets.
It is clear that there is. I don't ask why :) - Loyal_Johnson commented on July 2nd 19 at 18:29
: You ask "is it possible?" the answer to this question You have given yourself "In fact, it is possible and to use this connection method — it works." What do You expect from us? "Oh nice, found a cool feature"? Or what? - Henderson_Beat commented on July 2nd 19 at 18:32

Good night.
Of course you can. Use one main template, the plug-in to customize your menu.
For example, the splitting pattern for different levels of access rbac. For admin menu, post another, and leave the common code in the main template.
