How to make a router work as a switch?

Hello, this problem occurs. There are two router tp-link wr740n receives. The first router is the cable from the provider (Beeline), then it is a cable to the second router, and from him to the computer and TV console. On the second router dhcp disabled, wi-fi, firewall, gave it an ip of 192.168.0.2 (the first router ip is 192.168.0.1), ie in fact made of him a regular switch. Computer gets ip from the first router, but says that the network is not identified, the first router is not pinged, and no Internet, the TV console is also not showing. What did I do wrong?

What did I do wrong?

You wire incorrectly hooked up.
The cable from the LAN of the first router should be connected to the LAN of the second router.
And you have connected the LAN from the first router into the WAN of the second.
Where I wrote that I hooked up in the van? All connected in LAN. - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:07
: Have never written, you asked, I suggested.
Draw a connection diagram. - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:10
: >>"The computer gets the ip from the first router" - why are you so sure? How do you tell? - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:13
In the connection information worth of IP from the range IP on the first router address in the gateway and DNS. - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:16
: Connect the computer to the first router instead the second router so it will work? - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:19
: Not physically connect, but if if stuck on direct TV pristavka, then it works. - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:22
And the computer cable directly - just can't check it out?
About the console - it works being connected to any port of the first router, or one in particular? - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:25
: no - too far away. Console only in a configured port. - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:28
: That's better, the console is being connected only in a configured port.
And you connected a second router in the configured port or not? - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:31

IP is not needed. only use the yellow ports! and the cable from the first router in the yellow too.
It WAN!!! to make 10.0.0.1 - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:57
SP is in any case necessary, since it's all the same router and he can't be without SP. The second router's WAN is not used. - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:09
Actually, it's a switch and switches don't need IP. - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:12
okay. only on the first blue port obolochechnykh purposes not use. - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:15
: No, well in General he's right. The interface which looks in LAN is just from the local area available. In his case it is not critical, address it just will not end :), even if it's 192.168.1.0/24 network - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:18
: then let's read more, switch work exactly? the device that is plugged into the adjacent ports of each other see? - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:21
: Well, I'm not saying that this is critical - the presence or absence of an address does not affect the work. - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:24
: IP addresses do not overlap? network mask what is written?, if it is 255.255.255.0, then ip addresses are on the same subnet? I understand 192.168.0.xxx in this range should be - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:27
: just working, other not stuck, but on the router I go, the pings go up to this second router working wi-fi bridge, and from him came the cable TV box - everything worked. - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:30
: With [роутер2] you can do from the admin panel to pinganut first [роутер1]. and then ya.ru? When pinguely ya.ru - the name of the digit is allowed? - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:33
'Ah!' and ipconfig /all from a computer in the Studio plz - howard32 commented on July 4th 19 at 23:36
: not found from admin to pinganut. - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:39
here I will not help you. I have now under the hands of no d-link any TP-link. but just remember. that was possible. one of the last menu items - Gillian_Trantow commented on July 4th 19 at 23:42

mystic. As one of the crazy options -it's still bricom worth it. To try WAN interface to switch the Statik-PI and give the PI different from the PI network. Well. let it be conditionally 10.0.0.1 - earl.Weissnat commented on July 4th 19 at 23:51
with a computer can do and give the output of "route print" ? - Gillian_Trantow commented on July 4th 19 at 23:54

well what can I say in the mode of Chumak/kasperskogo or WAN.Роутер2 a sly way packs wraps. either something with the hardware. one of the easiest ways to check two devices and ping between them. - Gillian_Trantow commented on July 5th 19 at 00:03
And on the VAN.Руотер2 what settings? - howard32 commented on July 5th 19 at 00:06
: now static SP 10,0,0,1 - the same gateway and DNS - Gillian_Trantow commented on July 5th 19 at 00:09
check to роутер2 with another computer. where you sit in an Internet, can this piece of iron to try to sepanate on the second router? we need to eliminate one link. Ah! or computer to first connect to the yellow port... if it works. so odd with the router, but if роутером2 work the iron with which sit. it is just the incompatibility :) - howard32 commented on July 5th 19 at 00:12

Yellow ports. Just the LAN port we need on the second router.

PS. On some routers you can programmatically "group" ports
