How to organize remote access to the office file server for staff?
Hi all. Should I have a task to organize remote access for employees my office. Initially came up with a solution with OpenVPN. Found portable OpenVPN for clients picked up the server under Linux, dashed configs and made the certificates. Everything would be fine, except that program to the client have to constantly run with administrator privileges, that the route is registered to the network ofisi. But that's half woes. The rest of the troubles how to make easy the access to the file server. Clients all of course under Windows. If you run the script from a mounted network drives on the route-up then run it from administrator user and network drives of course the average user is not visible.
To do shortcuts and force users to constantly poke at him, too, as it is not nice, plus the script you can specify the username and password from the server, then using the shortcut will not do.
Maybe someone found any solution? Please share at least ideas on how to make things transparent to the user?
