Packages in Django how to use?

Explain to the beginner how to use the package/module/application in your django project. I can not understand. I Use PyCharm. For example , take the plugin in wordpress: you have it downloaded, downloaded , clicked install and you have the website display the new feature ( gallery, slider, similar records in laidbare). Until I got to the downloaded package djangopackages.org what's next? Where it to stick? How to work with it, customize it to fit my project.

Solution
For example you have a blog you should add tags and servants, rather than writing them in a manual you can download the modules and use them
from django.db import models
from autoslug import AutoSlugField #module
from taggit.managers import TaggableManager#module
class Article(models.Model):

 title = models.CharField(max_length=200)
 pub_date = models.DateField(auto_now_add=True)
 slug = AutoSlugField(populate_from='title', unique_with='pub_date__month')#module
 tag = TaggableManager()

and so on...
