The architecture of the computer. Tannenbaum or Patterson?

Here. Can someone tell me the strengths and weaknesses of these books?

The taste and color of comrades there. I recommend you to start reading of Tanenbaum, as his examples are, in practice, they describes the device specific parts of the computer, and then tells how to work with this resource in the MINIX operating system he developed himself.

Probably should start reading, but already there depending on interest.
