What is the easiest way to pull the template for Bitrix?

A running store and got a new layout. Need something without a strong on-the-job to pull the design. How to do it painlessly?

1) Make a full copy of the website
2) Unfold the copy on the local machine
3) Work with a local copy, create a new template
4) Testing and follow-through copy on the local machine
5) Fill the new template and apply it in the settings

P. S. can use GIT after watching a small course will understand how to work with it
Alternatively, and not on the locale to deploy, and directly on the host in different folder, linking it to a subdomain. Only from the search engines close just in case. - alda_Nicolas46 commented on July 8th 19 at 11:28
: If you deploy on the hosting, it is either ftp (sftp), and it is extremely long. Easier on the locale and then spread to dev.site.ru there is protest and then skopirovat to the main domain) - Mabel commented on July 8th 19 at 11:31
: Oh... you enter through SSH and either copy from the folder to the archive folder, or if a different server, then wget resolves the issue. Then deploy a copy to the new location. Affairs for 15-20 minutes... I prefer to deploy a copy on the same host where the primary site is spinning... Not good at setting up servers, so I try to work with the site in the same environment. - alda_Nicolas46 commented on July 8th 19 at 11:34
: Copy it is clear that ssh. And then how to work with files when editing? Like IDE, they certainly know how to through ftp, but need to fetch files from the host to the local machine. And ftp is not fast.
It is in the initial stages of working with sites you can do. If you already want to move to another level, GIT mandatory, though I rarely use them, because projects are often made and forgotten - Mabel commented on July 8th 19 at 11:37
: Yes, Git something to learn... in General, everything depends on the speed of the Internet. I have no problems with opening files in the IDE via FTP. However, IDE "conditional" use. Under Windows Notepad++, under Ubuntu Bluefish and gedit with plugins... in order to pull the template is missing. - alda_Nicolas46 commented on July 8th 19 at 11:40
I, too, used to do. FileZilla+Sublime. Open NetBeans, PhpStorm and later experienced a bliss)) Git in my day was to master - Mabel commented on July 8th 19 at 11:43

To start a new template is applied on the condition (some key in GET).
In Bitrix default so made the template "print", for example.
Debug. To test.
To apply to the entire site.
how can I do that? after the template is selected in site settings - alda_Nicolas46 commented on July 8th 19 at 11:30
in site settings, you select the templates.
On one site they may be several depending on different conditions. - Mabel commented on July 8th 19 at 11:33
Yes, but in this case, it will only change the top and bottom, and the new template, each page is laid out again - alda_Nicolas46 commented on July 8th 19 at 11:36
Release predictorsi ability to... See!
You have the template of the block that is all you are interested in the page - separate from the main site template. Yes, these templates will also need to edit. - Mabel commented on July 8th 19 at 11:39
A - B testing now out of fashion? You have the regular tool - alda_Nicolas46 commented on July 8th 19 at 11:42
