How to change the contents of the file using phpexcel?

Good afternoon, prompt how to modify the contents of the xlsx file with phpexcel without losing the contents of the file.
$phpexcel = new PHPExcel(); // Create the PHPExcel object
 /* Every time we make active the 1st page and get it, then written to data */
 $page = $phpexcel->setActiveSheetIndex(0); // Make active the first page and get it
 $page->setCellValue("A1", "WORD"); // Add in cell A1 the word "Hello"
 $page->setTitle("Test"); // Put the title "Test" on the page
 /* We start to prepare for recording information in the xlsx file */
 $objWriter = PHPExcel_IOFactory::createWriter($phpexcel, 'Excel2007');
 /* Write to the file */
 $objWriter->save("../info/life.xlsx");

As you can see, there are life.xlsx. It contains 1000 rows of data. I have in cell A1 write 1 word and then save the file. Ie original data must not be lost, but should be just added one word into cell A1.
