As it would be better and more beautiful?

why reinvent velospeed?
if you are comfortable on BSD we can use that I know on and deploy on centos easier troubleshootить
To the above: if you only need a Aster, and there is no rejection to the GUI, it is easier native distrib to deliver.
It here and there works fine. Choose a system you know best.
There were some unexplained problems with Asterisk on FreeBSD 13 10.3 (for example, failed to work PJSIP). Had to evict it on CentOS. I will not say that FreeBSD is to blame - the living conditions of the Asterisk were harsh in Gale.
Old Asterisk 1.8 is fine on FreeBSD.
Agree with . Although the old memory adminstva FreeBSD may notice that drivers on the Board is very small. It concerns of course mainly boards FXS/FXO, E1 Board, but also can not be got - before buying you need very carefully to find out presence of fire wood under FreeBSD. Guaranteed to work only cards from Digium and compatible cards (those that pretend to Digium)
