The choice of laptop for a student programmer?

Good afternoon. Leaving to study in another city and here the question arose of choosing a laptop up to 55 thousand rubles ($850).
I plan to code, do photoshop/editing, a little gaming.
The choice fell on Lenovo IdeaPad Y50-70 or ASUS K501UX
The problem is that the 2nd low-voltage processor. Should I take Lenovo or low-voltage CPU with the task to handle?
There may be other options.
PS Should I take 1920x1080 or 1366x768 is enough?

Low-voltage processor, is the one labeled U in the model name, if I understand correctly.
The idea is it to cope with the tasks of the programmer and even to potentiality succeed. Not low-voltage processor performance somewhere in the 15-40%, depending on the model. If games, perhaps better and Y50-70.
The higher resolution the screen the more pleasant to handle and less tired eyes.

or 1366x768 is enough?
Not enough.
Roughly speaking, you will not get panel to debug in the IDE together with the code.
Fit. - glennie_Mer commented on July 8th 19 at 12:02
sucks she breaks
without an external monitor trouble - marilyne_Roh commented on July 8th 19 at 12:05
in IDE from JetBrains (there are no alternatives to a similar level for Java, PHP, Python, Ruby) will not fit. - otho.Mraz23 commented on July 8th 19 at 12:08

I would certainly not call it comfortable, but it fit.

I bought Lenovo B590 for 13K, buy an SSD separately for 5K and 8Gb of RAM for 4K. To encode more than enough.
I have the same version, added 2 SSD. Then changed the processor to i5. The only negative is the screen resolution. - glennie_Mer commented on July 8th 19 at 12:04
: PERC then why change?) - marilyne_Roh commented on July 8th 19 at 12:07

Don't know what is low voltage CPU, but for big money he owes you more coffee in the morning feeding ) will Cope of course, if we are talking about photoshop. If you want to add transitions to more resource-intensive programs too right, it will be from the RAM depends.

you should for a start understand the processors for the beginning is the core frequency, not the voltage, I the identity of the student programmer.
1)will fulfill your needs and two beeches worse
2)More resolution, better for the eyes

I had a new laptop Lenovo Z570 which I bought in late 2011. Everything in it was wonderful. A few years later, however, beginning to fall off mount of the display. But two years for a laptop is a long time, and I used it at all. At first I wore it to school with you, I played him in DotA, on a drinking spree I took it as a portable player, it was shed not one pint of beer and they were expendable, went to University - did my homework on it, played DotA, wore to lectures.

1.5 years ago, the old memory bought Lenovo Z5070 for 36ะบ. Iron good. FullHD display, 6 GB operatives. First passed the warranty because the keyboard does not always work. Sometimes you press a key, and the symbol is not printed. 40 days he was kept, had returned with the replacement of Claudia. It did not help. In addition, the mount started to rattle. I somehow did not pay attention to it, because the laptop most of the time lying on a shelf and collected dust. Actively it has never been used. And here about a month ago I planned to sell it. Climbed to clean the dust, opened it, watching mount broke completely. All 3 bolts uprooted from plastic. I used it once a week when at the weekend left to parents to visit. In General, the sale of this stuff is now in question.

The same old memory around the same time as was bought Z5070, was bought two Lenovo phone parents. In six months they both started to drive the sensor. Click in the middle of the screen is pressed below. Lag is unreal.

Was I at the same time, ASUS K551LB, until I gave it to my mother. Great ultrabook, for me it was enough. I understood it by loosening the 10 bolts around the perimeter. The cover opens without the support of the bottom. Beautiful, comfortable, but with a resolution of 1366. But trust me, it's not a great misfortune in opposition to the whole inferiority lenova.

What I'm getting at. Never in my life not gonna take this, excuse me, shit - Lenovo. Maybe in the early 2010s, they were OK, but not now.

I think the coding does not need a lot of power.
TS well, except the coding is more "photoshop/editing, a few games" - glennie_Mer commented on July 8th 19 at 12:12
Well, depending on what coding. For Android Studio recommend 8GB of RAM minimum + new path all need, under the mobile telephones that unix servers. - marilyne_Roh commented on July 8th 19 at 12:15
: Yes,that is true.In General this question can be viewed from different angles. - otho.Mraz23 commented on July 8th 19 at 12:18
