For npm modules that only work on Node.js?

Those modules that is in npm, can I use them in a normal browser script or are they all going and working on the gcd?

Solution

Some can. For Example Angular. He's like bower and npm package comes. You need to read the description of the module.
NPM is just a package Manager. No more.
