Solution for corporate chat, with mass messaging?

Before moving to Ubuntu was Vypress Chat now to find a similar solution with support for mass mailing from any user, card user information about the internal telephone, Department and other information.

Put a jabber server for testing, run all possible clients, but none are staged. In Pidgin there is a plugin for sending mass messages, but he or out of date or not working. To create the room comfortable so that when you restart the app, the user in the room automatically misses. Also do not like that displays the user name from the card (Name, Name) and a username of the form user@server.

Maybe I missed something, how do I send a message to all users in the group in Jabber? Or maybe there's another solution?

as a variant of irc
use for more than 1.5 years. everyone is happy. there are groups, personal. The main channel for ads, the rest of the request..for departments...themes...etc...
for customers yuzaem xchat: in startup with the connection to the selected server + auto-log-in required rooms + avtovariant at the start
the number of customers ~300
the first disadvantage if not online not receiving messages, although did not understand MB and can be implemented. The second minus - on top of the rdp connection message does not pop up, well at least for a couple of months got used to flashing the tray icon on new message
in the connection window to the server information about employees - name, phone, email, etc. optional

Bopup watched? There is everything you need to manage the rights to send messages to/visibility to other users, the broadcast group, storing chat history and customers in Russian + support Android. Also you can send messages from the server, in scheduled intervals or one-time.
