What can I read or watch about freelancing?

Are there any comprehensive tutorials, books, courses that can be found in the public domain on the topic of freelancing? Maybe some blogs on the subject (in LJ or bloger). Need clear information, not water.

How to acquire a permanent base of customers, on a stock exchange it is better to start how to select the orders to which you should respond, etc. I'm not asking for everything ready on a silver platter, but based on the one described?

1) Register
2) Respond to the order
3) Make the order
4) Pass an order
5) Get dibs
6) transition to the 2nd paragraph.

What else does that? Can you still work?
"Two of the casket" - you know that?

Too broad a question asked. Specify what you do not understand.
Google "Blogs freelancers" there will be information. And on account of "not water", it is unlikely, no one in this area to put in the mouth chewed will not. The competition is the same.

Right away orders - those which you definitely will overcome in time and with high quality.
Exchange - any of thousands of them. There's a link "frilanser" can and there. I do with the forum section "Freelance" started.
Regular customers will themselves, if they see that you are really good at making product.

Start wherever possible.
Respond to everything that can make qualitatively and in time.
Do qualitatively and in time.
A recipe for everybody. And you don't like 99.9999% because each has its own specifics. And customers with its characteristics.
Maybe, by the way, exchange is not your option. I have my regular customers found direct cold calling. Well, that is, in the end, they become permanent. The number of potential customers who have never heard about exchanges of freelancing easily may surprise you.

Will put in five cents.
"Do qualitatively and in time" - let's get a few MORE than requested.
Then the customer will be unexpected good emotion from you. I did not think of it from a book on business - but the idea I really liked, and it justifies itself.
