A layout like this:

<relativelayout xmlns:android="" android:layout_width="parent" android:layout_height="parent" android:paddingbottom="@dimen/activity_vertical_margin" android:paddingleft="@dimen/activity_horizontal_margin" android:paddingright="@dimen/activity_horizontal_margin" android:paddingtop="@dimen/activity_vertical_margin" android:background="@color/colorPrimaryDark">

 < android:scrollbars="none" android:fillviewport="true" android:layout_width="parent" android:layout_height="wrap content" android:id="@+id/scrollView" android:layout_alignparentleft="true" android:layout_alignparentstart="true" android:layout_alignparenttop="true" android:layout_above="@+id/main_button">

Hello. To put scrollable scrollable container in the container - very bad. Try to revise the layout and the need for this approach.
But NestedScrollView specifically for such tasks has been created. - brando commented on July 9th 19 at 10:45
: for what? NestedScroll is the completion of the SCrollVIew to CoordinatorLayout understand behavior in LayoutParams and hid/showed AppBarLayout. in RecyclerVIew, too, understands this behavior. - Rocio_Cruicksha commented on July 9th 19 at 10:48
: so I was wrong, but without inside ScrollView will not work. - brando commented on July 9th 19 at 10:51
why? in RecyclerView you can follow the scrolls. There's generally all possible. - Rocio_Cruicksha commented on July 9th 19 at 10:54
