Why IE11 incorrectly renders the page?

Hello. If you open the website (regular static html+css) directly via IE11 everything looks fine

if a server IE11 shows here

in chrome everything works correctly, in what side to dig?

Because he doesn't know the tag main.
Add in CSS:
main { display: block; }
not the case, IE11 knows this tag, plus as I wrote above when you open the file directly everything is displayed normally. - Angelica.Bradtke commented on July 9th 19 at 11:25
: "knows" - what are you talking about? If the problem only on the server, then check the paths. - Marjor commented on July 9th 19 at 11:28
And the caches. - Angelica.Bradtke commented on July 9th 19 at 11:31
caniuse.com/#search=main the way to what? The css file alone, the fact that some properties of it are working some are not - rhianna_Yost commented on July 9th 19 at 11:34
: Well, you brought Caniuse.com. And note to read? Check all the way. - Weston98 commented on July 9th 19 at 11:37
: Googled this layout, this problem is solved there using Normalize. And what about X-UA-Compatible - so a normal coder he hammered pattern. Let's link to the code here not psychics sit. - Angelica.Bradtke commented on July 9th 19 at 11:40
