Will the change history of the file in Sublime text?

In General, I edited the html page , saved everything and sent to the server locally have not changed anything, worked
using the SFTP plugin for Sublime. So , then wrote the client that the page was cut off and so on, in General you need to find the change history of the file via SFTP . I understand that it's probably not possible, but still, as they say , and suddenly. It is very necessary.Thank you.

Who laykaet such responses?

Take a look at the issue from a General perspective:

1. Sublime Text is an advanced editor, even very much, and in it, on idea, should contain all important functions. Roll back to previous changes to the file in my opinion these include.
2. The program is a great community in total is written over 2,500 plug-ins.

When I was looking for the answer to Your question, I was sure that the plugin is. Or at least naguglit long discussion where many expressed for his creation.

It's called Local History. With the plugin installed after You save any file in Sublime Text 3, a copy of the file in the folder of Local History. Once saved, the same file — creates a new copy and the old remains and is not overwritten. Always moment you can return to any of the previous versions or compare them with the current contents of the file. Basic settings: you can set an expiration time of the versions — I installed nl, and the path to the folder Local History.

Sorry, does not work to quickly replace the file with its copy, but the rest is Local History serves me for several months, and several times had to resort to his help.

Thank you.
Please help me with local history. Installed via Package Control, go to the editor in the context menu nothing happens. There still is a current snapshot of master, downloaded to the folder where you installed the packages, but does not allow you to rename because the file already exists(probably the same one that was installed from package control). How do I start it how does it even work? I would be grateful. - Luigi_K commented on July 9th 19 at 12:58
install LocalHistory via Package Control. Preferences → Local History → Local History → Settings - User → in the opened file paste this: https://www.pastery.net/bhwcgb/ . After You press Ctrl+S, the file is automatically saved in the folder I have is "Data\.sublime". Open command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P) → gain LocalHistory → you should see the command LocalHistory — https://github.com/vishr/local-history/blob/master... . No local history in Sublime Text (maybe there are plugins, but I don't use those). Use Git next time or WebStorm/PhpStrom (they have a local history without the need for VCS).

use https://github.com/akalongman/sublimetext-autobackups more than six months
+ stability
+ flexible configuration
- eventually becomes a long list RES. copies (when a directory becomes large bekapai)

compare this plugin with Local History (pros/cons)?
I knew about the existence of the plugin Autobackups, but I did not uploaded it due to the fact that, for me, Local History is properly fulfilling its function. For more than a year of use, Local History plugin never failed, not summing up, when it really was needed.

The only trouble is command Replace (https://github.com/vishr/local-history/issues/75 look , You've already seen), but this is not the bug which you want to stop using the plugin. A macro is possible for this purpose to record (only a third party program, and not by means of Sublime Text that do not support switching between tabs https://github.com/SublimeTextIssues/Core/issues/1428).

Thank you. - Luigi_K commented on July 9th 19 at 13:04
