Solution
1. To check that php is running in command prompt
echo "<?php phpinfo(); ?>" | php
2. If works, then configure Apache
Read it
At least in Apache, you need the php module to load something like this:
LoadModule php5_module modules/libphp5.so
come on and register so that Apache gave php files to the processing module:
<filesmatch \.php$>
 SetHandler application/x-httpd-php
</filesmatch>
Thanks, I'll try it. - Alfredo_Ziema commented on July 9th 19 at 13:32
Thanks a lot! It worked. the line "SetHandler application/x-httpd-php" was commented out in the config. - Alfredo_Ziema commented on July 9th 19 at 13:35
