Is it possible to remove a number of packages with dependencies from Debian?

I'm in Debian is not the big. Can put the user stuff and more...
My problem is that installed virtualmin, but I couldn't quite get to the end that as a Yes with virtual servers. Tried to carry virtualmin and make all the handles (to Put the LAMP stack on a single host without virtual servers) in the end, no matter how I twist packages of apache and php, php scripts interpretiruya even banal...

Tried: 
aptitude purge php5 php5-cli php5-common apache2 apache2.2-common apache2-utils apache2.2-bin apache2-mpm-prefork

And then reinstall apache and php, but not hire(((
Tell me what you can read on this topic. Or give advice how can I delete all postavleno dependencies and install over that worked fine.
And can you tell me where the settings to see that php tries to be interpreted?

Solution
1. To check that php is running in command prompt
echo "<?php phpinfo(); ?>" | php
2. If works, then configure Apache
Read it
At least in Apache, you need the php module to load something like this:
LoadModule php5_module modules/libphp5.so
come on and register so that Apache gave php files to the processing module:
<filesmatch \.php$>
 SetHandler application/x-httpd-php
</filesmatch>
