How to display submenu in sidebar of wordpress?

I was using this functionality for the CMS, but I am for the whole day and found no solution :(
There is a menu (primary)
- ABOUT COMPANY
BUSINESS
PRODUCTS
- - letter a
- - subparagraph b
- - sub-item in
- CONTACTS

How to make clicking on "PRODUCTS" appear in the submenu !! sidebar !! types:
- - letter a
- - subparagraph b
- - sub-item in
where the active page is highlighted in bold? And is it possible to make the submenu in a widget?

Here all clearly:

You have two ways, first is to create yourself (the usual dropdown menu) using jqery (usually if the menu has sub items then it is added to the class .menu-item-has-children) from this and make a start. Or use vidzhity, such as Drop-Down Menu Widget.

I prefer to write myself using css and jQeury, the effect is called dropdown

And about the active menu, everything is simple, if the menu item is currently selected, it is assigned a class .current-menu just to css add styles
I don't think you understand the question. The problem is not the creating dropdown menu and to make sub-items in the sidebar... - Madeline.Wo commented on July 9th 19 at 13:52

CMS got to do with it? Rather, we need a structure like this ul > li > ul > li to create in WordPress - business 2 minutes (appearance - menus). Well, then - the case for CSS and JS.
