and who's stopping you to upgrade by downloading the installer from MS?

Have you tried to upgrade?
Just a month ago, updated the laptop to 10 and had not yet turned back to gwx (disabled through the registry), updated it was not possible. When the application starts, jump out the window and disappeared. - Doris.Kutch40 commented on July 9th 19 at 14:16

1)Try to use the tool for Troubleshooting Windows https://support.microsoft.com/ru-ru/kb/3081048
2) If service Pack 1 is not displayed, you need to install it before the refresh icon. It can be downloaded by going to: go to the Microsoft website
3)make Sure that Windows update is enabled
4)Run command prompt run as administrator. Type or paste the command dism /online /Get-Packages | findstr 3035583 – If the update is installed, you will receive a refund for the package identity and the data line. If it returns nothing, the update is not installed and you want to check for updates and install it.
Windows 7 also run the command dism /online /Get-Packages | findstr 2952664
If this update is not installed, install it.
Open Internet Explorer. Press Alt + H and in the appeared menu select About Internet Explorer . Make sure that you have Internet Explorer 11. If you have an earlier version, download Internet Explorer 11 from Download Internet Explorer 11 from the Microsoft website
5)After the upgrade completes reboot the device.
