How to do a redirect htaccess mod_rewrite?

Work with CodeIgniter, there was a question from the how to configure right in all senses, including SEO,
problem slashes, index.php eliminated, but the fact (for example)

example.local/login/index = example.local/login

Both available in the same page?

Maybe someone can share their settings file under this framework, who asked this same question?

Solution
well guys honestly word a th Google is not the fate of well sought generally in 1 second.
############################################################################
#### Remove index.php if it is in the end of the URL ####
############################################################################
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_METHOD} =GET
 # Identify the GET request in the URL (not POST).
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^(.*)/index\.php$
 # URL contains index.php in the end.
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ %1/ [R=301,L]
 # Delete index.php URL.

Something like this?
Thanks, I googled a lot, just for some reason didn't think to Google as the removal of index.php from the end of the line, because I have it already figured out and removed, based on your remade for themselves, thank you very much! - evangeline_Wa commented on July 12th 19 at 17:15
