How to sculpt pseudo-classes less?

There is such code:
input:focus::-webkit-input-placeholder {
 color: transparent;
}

I need to do the same for less
online Converter gave this result:
input:focus {
 &::-webkit-input-placeholder {
 color: transparent;
}
}

I did this:
input{
&:focus{
 &::-webkit-input-placeholder {
 color: transparent;
}
}
}

how to properly? it would be better?

Solution
Your version correctly, as it implies that there may be styles for the input focus. The generator is probably just not found these styles (because he doesn't know they are or not) and optimizirovan for a while.
In General, more correct to write mixin for cross-browser capability, like this: codepen.io/locky-yotun/pen/mPGZbB

: it is better not to write) notes hover and active music, it's just A ) - koby_Crem commented on July 12th 19 at 17:51
a : visited ? not ? - Caesar_Hills commented on July 12th 19 at 17:54
yeah, and another thing :focus. The logic of my answer does not negate it's never in need to go by the specifications of the state and not from its negation. - koby_Crem commented on July 12th 19 at 17:57
