How best to organize the environment for Wordpress on Mac OS?

Good evening!
First, I decided to configure the preinstalled Apache to spool it to Mysql, then look for 1.3 GB, but if you download completely third-party MAMP, it will take no more than 220Мб, and no problems with the settings.
I understand the situation correctly, or are there any pitfalls?
Server needed to work with WordPress, and at a very primary level, there may be generally any GUI options for such purposes?

Solution
1. MAMP-XAMPP-other - enough to start for simple tasks
2. preinstalled Apache + PHP + muscle, etc. - Nunavik, do not litter the system
3. Use VVV

on a very elementary level, is a MAMP,
the advanced level is already Makovsky xampp or Apache to configure.
