How short names work in Firefox?

Trying to configure the search in the address bar, add bookmark
https: //www.avito.ru/moskva?bt=1&s=1&q=%s with alias "a",
a search of: "and the laptop" throws anyway
https: //www.avito.ru/rossiya?q=laptop

Somebody tell me what could be wrong?
PS. I read here https://habrahabr.ru/post/6290/

Hmmm, if there is a similar search to the "off" state, for some strange reason, it "interrupts" the search of the bookmarks.
The remedy is to change the alias of the search.

But! in this case, search for "https: //www.avito.ru/moskva?bt=1&s=1&q=%s"
gives a 404 page
And update(!) this page shows(!) the result

Nonsense

Update2: If add "display name search" solely through the context menu, it creates a bookmark with address "https://www.avito.ru/search"but when you use her alias all the keys (moskva?bt=1&s=1&q=)", where" substituted and everything works. I did not understand the principle )))

The link is wrong maybe? https://www.avito.ru/moskva?sgtd=1&q=ноутбук - no throws.
