<main class="content" role="main">

 <section class="content__description">
the <h1>...</h1>

 <nav class="navigation-bar" role="navigation">

Given that the site is small and is actually a presentation of a logical contradiction here, but how much is correct from the point of view of semantics?

Since I bother with questions of semantics...
Unfortunately, I'm mildly familiar with this document and it did not help to resolve this contradictory situation.
Help with solution, thanks in advance. - nikita.Stracke commented on June 5th 19 at 22:07

The main tag created in order to highlight the main unique content of the page, so if your nav menu is a collection of links to other pages of the site, it is not desirable to make the nav outside the main tag.
But, if your nav will serve as a navigation anchor links within the page itself, from the point of view of semantics it is desirable to leave the nav inside the main tag - meagan.Bruen54 commented on June 5th 19 at 22:10
