In what normal form it requires that the identifier was not simply a surrogate and had their importance?
In what normal form properties of the relations in the relational data model requires that a unique identifier (a primary key, which simply just are usually technically sorts the data and does not carry logical meaning) was not simply a surrogate and had their importance?

Maybe I'm wrong, but it is in the normal forms is nowhere prescribed.
Surrogate's just easier and faster imho.
