Is it possible in mac os to bring the sound over a network?

Bought myself a good speaker system, and there was a problem - can't hold near the source of the sound.
Actually ripened a question, is it possible in mac os to make audiowind on any network device, i.e. to the speakers connected to a stereo amplifier, this amplifier in turn is connected to a raspberry pi which is a software. On the Mac I play music (say in cs), but she plays through the speakers connected to the raspberry pi. Is this possible? if Yes, then advise the necessary software.
