What kind of content: ''?

Very often I see such code in the guts of other people's projects.

usually this code in the :before or :after.
They are pseudoplatani (in html they are not).
And since a div with no content displayed just simply will not do content:' ';
Here's a good answer, and the previous alluded to the fact that I'm a moron and not able to Google, though about the property itself I knew long ago and enjoyed them, but did not understand the use of empty quotes. - rhett.VonRued commented on September 19th 19 at 14:19
Correctly hinted. Google the answer in 3 seconds. Ask a question only a fucking retard. - teagan.Grady commented on September 19th 19 at 14:22
: apparently you are confusing response with something else. For in another response, nothing was said about empty content,but for some reason the link to htmlbook content, where among other things, also said nothing about the fact that divas of pseudo-elements without this property are not displayed, and that should write the value to null if it is not. - rhett.VonRued commented on September 19th 19 at 14:25
