Why mkdir() not creating the directory?

There is a code
$path = "H:\domains\test.loc\src\App\CoreBundle\Twig/../../../../web/cache/images/";
$path_end = "0/1/b/b/";
In the path of the created all directories except "images" and next.
Do this:
mkdir($path, 0777);Everything works well. In a way it can create folder with name "images". Remove "images" folder back to return to its original state.
Do this:
mkdir($path . $name, 0777);And nothing works. The page isn't loaded. None of the directories will not be created.
How so? Where is the error?

Solution
Mkdir pass in the fourth parameter to true. Would it help if I correctly understand the issue.
well the documentation clearly States that defaults to false php.net/manual/ru/function.mkdir.php - Bennett.Satterfield28 commented on September 26th 19 at 06:08
Do. Why it seemed to me that the option recursive must be true by default. Thank you. - Alize_Buckrid commented on September 26th 19 at 06:11
