How to configure a web server?

Hi!
I have a project on ruby on rails.
I bought vds from digitalocean, and in the step of setting up a web server happened plugging.
Can't make friends between nginx and unicorn or passenger.
Clean install Ubuntu, follow this guide https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/h...
In the end, nginx is running rails in dev mode is working, but when trying to connect via passenger 502ую get the error.
Generally, if someone from the community will be willing to give me a little time to help with this issue, please write here neck.varentsov@gmail.com
In debt will not stay.

In General, there is an article: habrahabr.ru/post/120368 through it, know many who do just copy-paste (I do often) and it works in 10 minutes.

Nginx and Unicorn - good bunch for a simple vps without huge resources
Thanks, great article, but some things are no longer relevant - Nash commented on September 26th 19 at 06:57
for example? ubuntu 12.04 the same as 14.04, Unicorn, ruby, nginx, rvm, you can put edge. Capistrano 2.* focused on Rails out of the box, but the third - was made specifically for use with other stacks.
To slightly tweak start/stop/restart command and it works. - Kris commented on September 26th 19 at 07:00
To passenger have not noticed any benefits. Articles promises easy configuration, but I don't see what's so difficult with nginx. There is a weak iron - unicorn and ngxin handy.

There are serious app - take a Cougar for multi-threading - Kris commented on September 26th 19 at 07:03
