How to pass the template under Jumla to the customer?

Dear freelancers, what is included in the template creation for CMS, except for the layout?
For example, the customer asks to mark up from PSD ready template for Joomla.
Thus, a freelancer, in addition to layout you have to set all the positions for modules.
The modules implement the do not need? Menus in Joomla is also no need to create?

What all else is needed in addition to the layout? And in this template to insert demodena, all content, etc., which is initially in PSD, and show it to the customer?

As for me, the divorce is when I want the "design for X", because that sounds simple: to impose just, well, stuff - to pull.

And the pulling - monotonous, boring, hopeless job that requires knowledge of the engine\framework\project on which to pull, in fact, the layout (that's the trick that pay the most want only the layout), plus you need to earn the content Manager. And don't forget to change the fish to meaningful, good lyrics, as for most, far from computer - the name of his company from a small letter - it is a moral reason not to give 50% of the fee.

Maybe it's all subjective and in fact easier. Possible (own layout, not do) if prilovchitsya to popular CMS, and the difficulties do not make much. Yourself judging by the requests to pull an existing design into a custom project on the Rails. As for me, this job should cost more than the programming and layout together, because it does not develop and just really boring.

Conclusion: try to arrange to do a separate design in photoshop, separately layout in html and, separately, the fitting on the engine. Or, if you want to do everything together, calculate your hourly rate and multiply it by 2-3.

I've done a few Joomla sites from design to production and really have no idea how making a simple template (not the template under prof Jumla, and a specific layout to a specific website) to do it without self-tuning at the final server.
So either pull the pull and make the modules themselves - long, boring, with crutches, or negotiate only to the layout.
better only for layout, but if the stretch on sooooo a good amount - Herta.Heaney commented on September 26th 19 at 06:59

If the menu is not standard (except for lists there's something or it's not just lists) and there are complex modules that drop it. Generally if I requested the layout for Jumla or other motion I would have agreed just for the layout. Joomla CMS is extremely washed if used for all projects only. There are projects where only to rewrite 80% of the work.
In Joomla menu is created through the admin panel. that is, type ul>li>a - need other type, you have to dig Jumla, modules in Joomla lot, but they need to find, download and rewrite the design is again, dig into it, creating some great bread crumbs - again to dig as sensible settings in it. Modules to be honest it is not clear too. On account of the adaptation of the layout under it that matter is not complicated - if not for the first time.
that article on the creation - like a lot of them a lot...
