What the problem with the material is added to drupal 7?

Hello. Created in Drupal 7 private menu. Now we need to create the menu items and stuff to him. When you create material in the drop-down list menu has a Main menu and its items. My other menus are not displayed and therefore the possibility of binding material I see. Question: how do I solve my problem? What am I doing wrong? Working with Drupal for the first time.
