What is the memory in the PS4 is used for the CPU and which to GPU?

Please clarify the situation: say ps4 memory 8GB GDD5 one part is assigned under the operational CPU.
As you know, the operational memory is much faster than the operational memory for the CPU. If so, then why in conventional computers use DDR3 memory for the CPU? Why the ps4 uses GDDR5 for the CPU? What is the difference in VRAM from the regular RAM?
I share two concepts: memory for the GPU and CPU. Used to think that the memory for the GPU faster (5.5 MHz) than the memory for CPU (1.6 MHz). What is the memory in the ps4 is used for the CPU and which to GPU?

I can only say that DDR3 or the older generation (DDR, DDR2) are used for the CPU. Next generation DDR4 should be out in December of this year or during the winter.
GDDR5 is based on DDR3, but is designed for use in applications, such as the PS4. Accordingly GDDR5, is the same as DDR3 but faster, especially for consoles PS4.
Here's an article on Wikipedia about GDDR5. Therefore, I can confidently say that it is the CPU.
The PS4 CPU is used: 8Gb GDDR5 (256-bit GDDR5 (effective frequency of 5.5 GHz) with a bandwidth of 176 GB/s)
Unfortunately I can't say characteristics, with regards to video memory.
Why, in this case this memory is not used in normal PCs as operational? She is faster. - Adolph61 commented on October 3rd 19 at 01:24
After all, announced the next generation DDR4, but there are also GDDR5, why not use it? Why do I come up with DDR4, GDDR5 and when there is it can be used as RAM? - Adolph61 commented on October 3rd 19 at 01:27
this is a different standard of memory. The device and the specifics are different. - tatum_Bog commented on October 3rd 19 at 01:30

In addition to the 8Gb GDDR5 iFixit found 2GB chip DDR3-2133.
I think that it uses OS console to fit your needs.
