SQLite+delphi how to execute a batch request?

Please help with the solution of the following problem:
Create in Delphi XE5 bundle:
sqlConnection-SQLQuey-DataSetProvider-ClientDataSet-DataSource-DbGrid
in SqlQuery the request write
select 1;
select 2;

The result is a response: 1
Why not get the answer 2?
Why sqlite ignores the second select?
Although the same SQLite Expert is able to perform two select in a row.

Maybe to write UNION queries ? Or wrap in a BEGIN ... END; ?
I don't need to combine these queries with UNION. I need their consistent implementation, with the result of the 2nd select. Wrapping this code to run in a single transaction begin transaction; select 1; select 2 ; commit error: "cannot start a transaction within a transaction" The gugleniya this error did not lead to the understanding of the problem. - Milan_Hayes commented on October 3rd 19 at 01:48
I only have experience with Borland C++ & Oracle, but I think the essence is the same. Two select in one query could not be executed. Or is it all wrapped in begin and end, but then such a sample does not return any set of rows and simply executed. Or make two different query. - candace_McDermo commented on October 3rd 19 at 01:51
