Why not open ports for Azure (ws 2008 r2) (the period of free testing)?

Actually the problem is the following.
Took an Azure trial period for 30 days.
1 Create a virtual machine on Windows Server 2008 r2
2 turned Off the firewall
3 Go to Server Manager start to add Inbound Rules Outdound Rules obtained

4 Next stamp in endpoints (endpoints) and add the port there

Check the port on 2ip.ru closed (and so the software is not connected)

What I did wrong? Can you help?

Solution

Try to open the ICMP Protocol on the outside. Helped me. Here is the manual if necessary.
