Why Windows hangs at boot logo if you have enabled the PCI video card?
There are two identical system unit hp dx2000m, both are OK, each for 5 PCI slots (not Express, 32-bit, 33 megahertz) and two graphics cards of ZOTAC Gfors 430 (both serviceable).

After installing the drivers, Windows starts to hang during boot. But not every time, but only if the system unit was turned off and then turned on.
Under normal reboots all is loaded normally. To fix the hang you need to go into the BIOS and just resave the settings, it helps to first palgaga off. The batteries are not dead.

Both sistemnik tried WinXP and 7 and flashing the BIOS the Mat Board to the latest. The result is the same — hangs.

It's probably just buggy drivers. You use sotkovsky or from nvidia? What happens when you boot in safe mode?
Neskollko different drivers from nvidia - Wilfrid.Colli commented on October 3rd 19 at 03:36
try native Sotkovsky. - noah_Stokes commented on October 3rd 19 at 03:39

Look for the BIOS firmware fresher h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/upgradeMigrateResults/?sp4ts.oid=401819&spf_p.tpst=psiContentResults&spf_p.prp_psiContentResults=wsrp-navigationalState%3Daction%253Ddoclist%257Ccontentid%253DA.05.02&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken
Try and put other wood on the step newer (albeit beta) or a step older with www.nvidia.ru/Download/Find.aspx?lang=ru

ATTENTION ALL!!!
If you want to change/check the power supply (to replace BP HP known-good) — 100500 times, CHECK the PINOUT of the POWER WIRES __MOTHER__ (the ATX24) — LEADS CAN DRAMATICALLY be different!!!

For example, instead of the earth comes 12V instead of 5V comes earth, etc.

The solution most likely is to disable in the BIOS the possibility of "wake up to PCI" or disable capabilities in Windows power management for a PCI device/devices in the whole bus (the power saving mode and sleep/pobudka the device).
Interesting, need to see if there are options. - Wilfrid.Colli commented on October 3rd 19 at 03:40
How to Windows XP disable advanced power management for a PCI device?
Tried all possible BIOS options (there are not so many, only to Wake-up from PCI devices and modem) and prioritetai graphics card, nothing helped. - noah_Stokes commented on October 3rd 19 at 03:43
