Got a tablet with Android on Board the tablet plugged usb cable to a desktop computer.
Is it possible to exchange data between an application running on the tablet and on the computer, for example, emulating a com port?

Solution
Regular utilities android sdk contains adb utility, one possibility is redirect connections to the device, including the character device:
adb forward <local> <remote> - forward socket connections
 forward specs are one of:
tcp:<port>
 localabstract:<unix domain socket name>
 localreserved:<unix domain socket name>
 localfilesystem:<unix domain socket name>
 dev:<character device name>
 jdwp:<process pid> (remote only)

</process></character></unix></unix></unix></port></remote></local>
Sorry, went with a touch-tablet, finger too big for the local interface, meant plus for the answer. - Nicolette21 commented on October 3rd 19 at 03:36
