Advanced guide?

Hello. For their work looking for an enhanced version of Windows Explorer 8. Maybe there's a standalone solution or an add-on for Explorer. In particular, are particularly interested in the following functions:

— color-coded files

— ability to lock specific files first in the results, that they are not affected by the specified sort

— the possibility to insert in the Explorer window your html file as the site for implementation on certain pages of its own functionality.

an explanation about the last point in the figure below: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1882988/explorer_examp...

Far Commander or Total Commander provides this functionality and a lot more... which both have the subsystem plugins, FAR more and opensource.
By cons the purpose of replacement of the conductor — the lack of viewing mode Icons and Thumbnails... only a table and a list.
Alas, the preview is badly needed. - Melyssa.Leuschke24 commented on October 3rd 19 at 04:31
For Total Commander you can choose the plugin... for some file types are support:

But it is certainly not the same.

p.s. practice shows that the thumbnails are usually only needed for a certain type of directories and types are not interesting thumbnails of text documents, presentations and even more specialized software (CAD, Corel,..), 99% require only thumbnails for viewing photos and at this point all the cool functionality of file Manager required! and even a hindrance.

I recommend for such a task to find specialized solutions, they will definitely be more convenient. - Erick commented on October 3rd 19 at 04:34
