Excel and Yii

Can anyone advise definitely working extension, read Excel, to then to be able to shove it into the database? Something like PhpExcelreader, only fresher and without any "file is not readable". Just PHPExcel, as you know, also for Yii has not been updated for a long time.

It's not exactly the answer, but I would seriously "and whether excel". There are too many nuances, it is constantly changing. What if there is a csv and any software that works with excel excellent saves to csv.
You're to save in database still expect a certain structure of the table, and thus the stage of opening it in FOR is still there, so why not save on a better format for this purpose.

What's stopping you to write the wrapper in Yii for PHP Excel?
And if you write, I think many will be grateful to you if you put in the extensions - Ozella_Franecki49 commented on October 3rd 19 at 04:49
