The usability of the site-the posters?

Make a website-the poster city events, still under wireframe's. The site is fairly simple — a list of events and information about them. There will be three primary views: events for today, for tomorrow, for a week and the blog for reviews of most of these events (not the main element). Came to the main page, and the question arose: what should be on the front of this website?
  1. From the list of events for today
  2. A pair of speakers out of all of the above sections
  3. Something else

What would you like to see on this page?

Block "of where to go?". To specify the area of the city, approximate time, and type of recreation (e.g. dance, eat, sing in the karaoke, etc.), and when you click Find, it seemed to me possible options.
For example -> to dance, in the evening, Novoyuzhnyy district, and among the options — a cafe, where today plays everyone's favorite group, well and clubs and showing today.
it you mean something like a faceted search? - kaleb.Wintheis commented on October 8th 19 at 00:34

Trust people. Probably you must have some rating of upcoming events, so bring the top. This will have maximum impact hinteres users on the main page.
I agree. And what about the first time, while visitors are few and there are no votes? - kaleb.Wintheis commented on October 8th 19 at 00:36

If the city is not a metropolis, mini-map places (those which will soon be the selected event). If the city is big — map in the near/defined area.
consider the map, thanks. - kaleb.Wintheis commented on October 8th 19 at 00:38
