Linux for HTPC?

Wanted distribution (delayline debian-like) for installation on the HTPC. The frontend is XBMC. The films are all in HD.

System: AMD E-350 ATI Radeon HD 6310, 4Gb DDR3 (read more)

Tested: Mythbuntu 11.10 x64, Ubuntu 11.04 x32. Mythbuntu did not like at all, and adjust humanly I couldn't. Ubuntu + XBMC almost perfectly, but some movies are slow. Suggest 2 options: or x32 pae system or because of crookedly risen driver of ATI and not included the acceleration of the graphics card.

Please tell me whether in this case the difference between x32 and x64 systems.

Or advise a good software bundle for solving my problem.

And maybe somebody knows a good manual to develop the ATI driver to make it working.

Thank you for XBMCLive. Didn't know about it.
Take, will not regret. 3rd year of 24/7 working, glad the whole family. - nikita.Stracke commented on October 8th 19 at 00:54
XBMCLive is certainly good, but ATI is not friendly. - Kayley_Legros46 commented on October 8th 19 at 00:57
