The hardware part of the computer?

Habr, greetings!

What books you advise to read about the hardware of the computer? Sometimes it is not clear how everything works at the lowest level.

Thank you.

Read "The Linux Kernel" By D. Bovet, M. Cesati. After Tanenbaum.
The book is very interesting, enough detail reveals different aspects of the architecture. Let the word Linux does not scare you, this book is more about the interaction of hardware and software-the software part rather than specifically about Linux. I think you should enjoy it.

Upgrading and repairing PCs. Also quite a lot just described.
