Counterparts Acronis

Please tell me the equivalents of Acronis, as a tool to scan images on N computers, preferably independent from the specific architecture and OS.
Interesting in principle, the subject, I would be grateful if anyone can share any information on this topic.

Classics of the genre — clonezilla
Heard about it, but it seems there were some significant shortcomings
And You yourself ever used it? What are your impressions? - Erik.Torphy75 commented on October 8th 19 at 01:21
It was not possible. But significant shortcomings have not heard. - Ignacio_Romaguera commented on October 8th 19 at 01:24

I have my backups deploying the DOS Norton Ghost — it contains all the basic features + multicast with minimum resource consumption.
Mmm, as far as I understand there is unfortunately no support for *unix systems and the inherent file systems. - Erik.Torphy75 commented on October 8th 19 at 01:23

Excuse me, but what are the disadvantages and glitches found in Truimage from Acronis?
Himself sitting on it, but so far satisfied.
I've heard good things about semanticism Ghost, but he has not yet test...

I didn't say anything about glitches and flaws in it =) I'm just looking for analogues. You can't just hear about Acronis and from it choose, not looking at the range of solutions to this issue.
But of the cons Acronis immediately catches the eye:
— he paid, though it's not very expensive.
— not supported by some FS, among them XFS - Erik.Torphy75 commented on October 8th 19 at 01:25

Cool, but thoroughly warez thing — Hiren's Boot CD, there is an entire list of Backup Tools. I've used Ghost (before), now usually Acronis.
Problems with any one nor the other was not, except that Ghost, not all the media sees and works only with the boot CD and Acronis under Windows to create a backup "hot"
